Tapestry

Weaving a Kind and Peaceful World

Work at Tapestry follows three threads—Academics, In the Field, and The Arts.

Academics:
Learning and Sharing

Tapestry academics are at the forefront of discovering, compiling, and sharing well-vetted information with those who are best-positioned to bring change: scholars and students, activists, and in our religion program, people of faith. Tapestry works to make information accessible online, free-of-charge.

In the Field:
Loving Labor

Tapestry’s Hospitality Challenge increased local vegan options exponentially in the first year of operation, and continues to be a huge success. Tapestry also volunteers at local shelters, rescues, and rehabilitation facilities for wildlife and domesticated animals.

The Arts:
The Art of Change

Tapestry encourages and creates poetry and visual art as activism—art designed to inspire kindness, bring justice, and build peace. Tapestry offers images and poems free of charge, asking only for acknowledgement that includes a link to the Tapestry website.
